The Right To Carry Road Show is a partnership between the New Jersey Coalition for Self Defense, Gun Owners of America and the Second Amendment March to make a political statement about our absolute rights to self defense.

Across America there is a growing respect for the right of the people to keep and bear arms for protection. In the last twenty years, the number of states with laws that make it easier for Americans to exercise the human right of self-defense has more than doubled - almost forty states now enjoy "shall-issue" laws for concealed carry permits, along with a decline in their rates of violent crime against ordinary hard-working people.

However, there remains a small group of holdouts who favor ideology over liberty and security. In states like New Jersey, Massachusetts and California, citizens are routinely denied the right to carry firearms for personal protection, and in states like Wisconsin and Illinois, carrying a firearm for protection is banned altogether.

It's the mission of the Right To Carry Road Show to give Americans in these deprived areas the opportunity to exercise their rights by offering one-stop processing for Florida carry permits. Why Florida? Because the Florida permit is widely honored and respected through reciprocity agreements with other states, and holders of the Florida non-resident permit will be licensed to carry throughout more than half of the U.S. So for example, if you live in New Jersey, you would be able to carry in neighboring Pennsylvania with your Florida permit because of reciprocity agreements.

But the best part is that when you attend a Right To Carry Road Show and get your permit, you'll be sending a message to your state legislature that your rights are important to you, and that "progressive" gun control is a tried-and-failed experiment of the past.

New Jersey has been the epicenter of our efforts to this point, but we're looking forward to rolling the Right To Carry Road Show across our great nation.
